Ice cold compressions

bed, bed, and more bed! rest as much as you can. ice cold compression is said to help but i recommend codeine and sleep.

I'm actually going to disagree with the previous two posters and say hot compreses, because the heat encourages it to come to a head and drain. Then once you've got all the gunk out of it, ice to get it to close.

Sorry, the big one are the worst!

Personally I would say drown it in Mupirocin or a product like it... it won't work for everyone, but it always makes my boils come to a head and drain.
