i shot heroin in the early seventies for about a year..i had one relaps about 3 yrs ago for about a month..now i'm hepatitis c positive with a very high viral load..if i hadn't been drinking alcohalicly i probably wouldn't have relapsed on heroin after 30 yrs clean..these addictions have no mercy they only want to take us out..shame it took hepc and all that goes with it to wake me up..hope this makes someone think twice..getting clean and sober means life and a better one..staying out there in denial means death and illness and no life..getting clean and sober can be painfull but there's alot of life to be lived out there if we don't wait too long..bless you all
I found out about hep c after I had almost a year clean, and it made me want to just say fuck it and get high again. but I didnt. and now going through the tx for hepc it woke me up even more!
