where did you read about cinnamon and peppermint ? NO candy canes for Christmas ??? I have been looking ,can't find any restrictions on diet of Harvoni...I wondered that also....think I will call office...yeah right

Do not add any medication, OTC or supplements without checking with your doc first. Read the insert that comes with Harvoni. No St. John's Wort. Must take antacids at least 4 hours prior to taking Harvoni. I was not told about specific foods like cinnamon or peppermint or citrus. Avoid spicy food if you are prone to heartburn. I'd check with Gilead & Support Path plus the doc if you have questions about food. It goes without saying that no alcohol is also important.

I did read that instruction sheet with Harvoni...thanks allab....not having any issues with any foods..I eat alot of mexican foods and ae spicy but never have indigestion problems.....thanks God..

Thanks for replys. Was just curious. After 2nd day on HARVONI I developed stomach issue that lasted two days. Was just wondering if I ate something that didn't mix. It's unusual because I rarley if ever have stomach aches.
One thing I did that was different was that I took two Aleve. Since I work out a lot I take Aleve from time to time. I have a sneaky feeling that this was the culprit. From here on out for another 24 weeks I will refrain from taking anything unless absolutely necessary.
