Yes WarriorGal just got her SVR 12 good news on S&O a little while ago. CatMagic will be next. I am expected to do well but won't find out until my SVR 12 test in Oct.
The vibe around the my Liver Clinic is that no surprises are being expected on this combo. I guess shit can happen but it's not expected.

You should expect good news on the SVR front. I have been following a lot of people who were lucky enough to get these off-label meds & the 12 wk results are amazing. I hope the other issues you are dealing with take a turn for the better as well. Can't wait to hear from you when you confirm SVR.

Thanks Allaboutliving. I appreciate the response. The lab said 2 or 3 days for results but my experience has been different. It usually takes longer.

Hi! YUP, I am SVR-12 - "cured"! Pretty amazing. Our mutual doc says he is seeing about a 90% cure rate on oral tx.

Just saw a freezing tx for knee pain on tv recently...also there are various injections. Me, I've had knee replacement. Hope you get some relief and hope you reach SVR-12. Pleas let us know.

And to be clear, that's 12 weeks after completion of the treatments. I supposed most of us know that, but some may not.

@Warriorgal - is that 90% of folks with SVR 4 proceed to SVR 12 or 90% of all who had treatment. I am wondering if any undetectible at EOT folks relapsed (never made SVR 12). I worry a lot in case you haven't noticed.

Yep, I'm next - SVR12 labs on August 4. Was SVR4 in early June. My results take at least 10 days to get back. My doc and many others say SVR12 is "cure"; however, others would say SVR24 is "cure." We are the "pioneers" of the S/O tx, so ... opinions on that will firm up as time goes by.

Just got a call for an appt. in Sep. to do a Fibroscan - whoo hooo! My doc finally talked the hospital in Phoenix into buying the Fibroscan. Things in that regard have gotten much more accurate than they used to be. No more needles in the liver for this kitty. No more liver ultrasounds either (not that I minded them) - this Fibroscan does it all! :)

Hello OneW, as catMagic implied, the rules are changing because solvaldi is a new drug. No, not everyone ever on solv remained undetectable @ 12wks post treatment, but they may have unique circumstances. You can get that 12wk test with confidence. The chances are overwhelming that you'll be declared "cured."

Try your best to get the "FEAR" or ANXIETY out of you.

At least you are UNDETECTED......That in itself is a cause for a celebration (to me anyway, who still waits for that wonderful news).

Thanks everyone for your replies. I am worried, I am sorry to say. There is a lot a stake here, as you all know. I had the blood drawn on 7/23 and then the clock stopped ticking. It always feels like time stopped moving forward when I am waiting for medical test results. How can 24 hours seem like 24 weeks? I guess that's a long time to hold your breath.

OneW, you're normal! Everybody is anxious for results. Everyone wants to hear "undetected."
Nobody wants to go through treatment again.

Look at me, I had lost hope, doc going to take off tx and "boom" UNDETECTED at week 18.

This virus makes us all basketcases, so it is best to do things to put your mind some place else.....I did that a while back and I am not sure if that is what helped....."mind over body, etc"
