I just started day eight of sov/riba. So far, so good! The nurse from the pharmacy called me about day 3 to see how I was doing. She wanted to know if Ive been drinking water and gave me some information on the meds. She said she will check back in 3 weeks or so. Compared to how I thought Id feel Im amazed at how good I've been doing. The nurse said that If I start to not feel so good to stay busy. I too noticed that the busier I am the better I feel. Plus, I dont want to be up all night. I have drank more water this week than I have in my life on a daily basis. I truly believe this is helping the most!! I constantly am sipping on water. As far as side effects, they are minimal. However, I do notice some because I know what they are. Mornings are the harder part of the day. Perhaps because I take the sov and riba 600. 400 riba in the afternoon. I have notice a little anxiety when Im still. Ive noticed being foggy headed. I asked the nurse about the peak of side effects etc. She said most people have most side effects weeks 2 through 4. She said after about a month people have learned to manage the side effects. She said other people tend to get the rash and itch towards the end. Its kind of like the bodies way of saying this virus is dead and the medicine needs to get out. SO Im posting for those who are going to begin treatment. Peoples experiences have gotten me up to this point. Oh yeah, Ive also noticed some nausea, but I had that before treatment too. I also feel dumb. lol It's like constant "brain farts" throughout the day. If I can feel this way until the end of treatment Ill be so happy! Did anyone else feel good the first week or did they not feel well and started to feel better as treatment went on?
