Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
You've got it, girl, stress is not good for us. You've really faced your fears and can move forward with your strengths. HCV does not own you.
I smiled and said to myself, "thanks for sharing", and went about my day. No pains since. :-)
You are right, fear and stress can do as much or more harm than any disease. You are not alone, I think it means you're human.

Stay positive and good things will happen.
Pain would not go away on my right side, even waking me up at night.
Called Hep Doc and all bloodwork, incuding Viral Load "UNDETECTED" - I am 8 months SVR.
Called PCP as headache also, she thought my gallbladder going as I was so tender to touch there. They did a STAT abdominal ultrasound and I found out everything is normal (except gas blocking seeing pancreas) and my liver reads: "Stable mild heterogenous due to hepatitis - which is "fatty liver"....Last ultrasound/biopsy done April 2011. So I guess I have remained
stable in that area, which is good.
My pain subsided some, but now is back along with the headache.
My plans are to lose weight, really work at it and FORGET about this HEP C, as it will kill me with the stress I put on myself.
That along with my medical bills.
Glad I am not only one........Never thought I would be such a basket case.
