Way before i was diagnosed with HCV, i have always included Vinegar in daily diet. I drink it, clean with it, and etc. I just want to know, do Vinegar have any effect on the Liver or HCV?

Actually, cider vinegar is a very viable liver cleanse. :) Have at it!

I don't know how good it is for the liver, but my 87 year old mother in law swears by a ounce of vinegar with a tablespon of honey in it every day. She still lives alone, does most of her own yard work, and host's lots of party's in her retirement community so maybe there's something to it.

I would only use apple cider vinegar. Oh sockfuzzies, you are so smart.... I read it is a great cleanser, I may start up again as soon as I am done with the antibiotics

until i started tx i took cider vinegar daily. then i found out that anything acidic is not good for the liver, eg grapefruit, orange,lemon etc (lime is good tho) and i presumed acidic would include vinegar so i stopped taking it about 3 years ago. hmmm. it's an interesting question. thank you for posting:) will have to go back to drawing board and research. it's not that i dont believe what everyone is saying here. it's because my liver is badly damaged and i just cant take the risk without confirmation.
will let you know my findings.
in the meantime, be strong, stay positive and be happy:)

Thanks you guys, i will take a break till i get a conformation from a legitimate source. However, Sock, you are right it help cleans the liver, kidney, and also helps burn internal fats. I use it to balance my sugar and also burn fat.
Lynn, my late grandma always made me drink it when i was a kid. I never knew why but i found out recently.
