Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I switched drs for 2nd time treating. I explained I wasn't comfortable with 1st dr's experience - or lack of - in treating hep c patients. Plus the phys. assist. & staff weren't very nice. Second dr was cool about it. Although, turns out she isn't all that experienced w/hcv & tx either, but enough that it's working for me.
Prayers for you Debbie

Glad to hear your doctor listened. I feel lucky, during my last visit my doctor sat down, listened to me intently, then said some very comforting words. It's refreshing when a care giver actually cares.
