Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Interferon will soon be old medicine! Well it still has a few years, but we are def. getting closer!
Yes we all want to get on with treatment and get healthy again. Even if you were to be assessed as cirrhotic today you have time on your side.
Please read this link about cirrhosis and try to relax a bit about it otherwise you could set of a whole other bag full of stress realted illnesses!

I'm a brooding Celt. Runs in the family. Brooding, worrying - all lead to anxiety. Stress. Self-induced. Gonna get better tho' - I am. I have to now. Yep.
BTW all tranqs/sedatives if taken long term have the potential to promote mental decline but for a short period I fell they are worth the risk to help prevent other stress induced illness.
