I had no faith, still get concerned the bugger will come back, but it is worth a try.
Your doctor sounds like a jerk!! I would check around for a new one.
I do understand that you are complacent now with this disease as I did become also....You are correct that the way we live our lives and treat our bodies make a huge difference in the way we feel and the outcomes.
I gave the new treatment a shot as I knew I was going to lose my good insurance thru my hubby's employer, so I figured it was my last chance.......It worked and I am geno 3a.
You seem to be handling it very well, and I applaud you for that!!
If you ever want to try to get the new meds - it is worth a shot, not bad at all compared to the old meds.....Very different, much easier.
Good luck to you and keep up the great attitude!!
I would find myself a good hepatologist because you should be followed on a regular basis.
Not sure if you have public healthcare or what level fibrosis you have but can you look into getting retreated? Otherwise, what about applying to AbbieVie or Gilead if you have no healthcare or have been turned down.
Hang in there....you have the right attitude. Just be persistent and eventually you will get what you are asking for.
There is new HOPE on the Horizon for you ...this time ..you will get that dragon...he is as good as dead ..but rest..do you take Milk Thistle ..get good nutrition plan...
