I started week 3 of treatment today. I'm trying to keep track of side effects for those who are considering treatment or about to begin treatment. I know when I was waiting to start I wanted to hear everything I could about side effects etc. so far I feel good. Most of the side effects I can attribute to the medication only because I know what the common sides are. Otherwise, I would probably brush them off but I know what to look for. I take my first two pills in the morning at 830. I take my second RIBA at 6 pm. I take meds w food all the time. I have been drinking soooo much water!!! This is probably thesis reason my sides have been mild. I have a weird itchy rash on my head. It drives me nuts and I need to stop itching it! It's small bumps. I also have experienced what feels like random pin pricks on my body. I have some nausea. I do get a little racy in the chest. Somewhat anxious. I feel some joint pain. The other night I felt a bit run down at work an nauseous. I am a waitress so I pushed through it. It passed in about an hour. My fuse is a bit shorter. Overall, I feel good. Heck, I felt run down and nauseous daily prior to treatment so it's nothing new. Hoping to keep positive and feeling good. I actually get more bouts of energy too. I hope this entry can help someone who may be looking for answers. This is my way of giving back. So many have given their experience strength and hope to me so freely. It's my turn to do the same.
