Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

I know i'm supposed to be kind with my posts on here, But to be Honest i'm really pissed at DS. Alittle while back one of our most beloved members Debbear, Has run into some really serious life struggles and somebody got band for something that had to do with it. I believe I was the one who mentioned somebody should set up support on Gofundme for Debbear and i guess she might have took it a step further, i don't know because i didn't follow the post because i've been busy. But i will say this some of your rules and regulations are crap. This is a wonderful site where people can come and help and support each other and i was grateful to have found this site for my Hep-C support because i had nowhere else to go. I got tons of support and advice and i would not be waiting for newer and better treatments if it wasn't for my friends on here. I not only got support for my Hep-C but i also got support for life in general. So if anybody should have been band it should be ME. Were just humans beings trying to help other human beings.......isn't that what were supposed to do as being human. Well your rules SUCK and if you want to ban me then go ahead, but don't punish people for being human. I've said my Peace, eyore455

Maybe i was alittle harsh last nite but i was angry and i didn't know the whole story, and maybe i still don't know the whole story, but i'm allowed to vent.

Yes it's a shame about Csick being banned just trying to help.
Seems it's one of the rules of the road DS set out about asking for money.
I seems if one is discreet about it DS leaves it alone.
Meanwhile Deb is having more than anyone's fair share of challenges but all hope is not gone yet.
It's great that so many have wanted to help in what ever way they can and the fund does continue to slowly grow.

On one hand, I can certainly see the need for moderation and limits. Many of the unmoderated message boards I used to go to have turned into trolling grounds and petty political bickering.

On the other hand, there should be a way we can be allowed to help those in need. Perhaps a simple voting system? Too many negative votes and the post is removed. If enough people vote it up... it's left alone. It's not a perfect system, but neither is zero tolerance.

I do understand that we do need some moderation on here, and its my understanding that csick was warned, but on the other hand since i joined DS Debbear has been the most supportive loving and compassionate person to anyone that needed help on here even if she didn't know them, and i was just a bit pissed that someone got band when alls were trying to do is help a loved one.

The intent was good. Too bad so much negative fall out from a well-intentioned, passionate purpose that hurt no one.

Guess we'll have to use the priv msg method to all our contacts in future?

Let's all have a big round of MOOOOOOOOOOs for our favorite cow. She has survived this and was glad to help our Bear.

And DS should find better things to worry about.
