I read skimmed this quickly but it seems the results are so far just for SVR4. Although promising, SVR4 is too early to celebrate...but that's just my opinion as an eternal pessimist. I'm way past SVR4 and still very worried about the possibility of relapsing.

True dat, Kat. At my age, I'll worry about that WHEN I finally get treated, but not too much. Just having that damn virus gone for a fair amount of time gives your liver and entire system a much needed break. I can really feel the fast tracking of these drugs - lots of $$$$ at stake, esp. for Gilead after buying what turned out to be Sofosbuvir. They want this BAD.

I don't care who gets the first piece of the pie, really. I'm not fond of Gilead's uber greed - but they're all greedy. At least BMS and others are willing to work together but again, ONLY because of the huge amount of money to be made.
