Good for you! I think you will feel better with the water routine. Everyone in my support group at the hospital (and the docs) say it really helps with the sides. Keep us posted on how you feel.

i know how much drinking water is good for you but i just can't drink plain water.

i buy the bottles of lemon juice and put a little in my glass of water. it's just like having water with lemon in a restaurant. i also have a 1/2 gal. container mixed the same way that i take with me when i go out on errands and such.

fresh lemons would do to but the bottled juice keeps forever.

I'm with Joe, add a lemon or lime wedge, and it will be more appealing to the appetite. Force yourself to drink even if you feel you can't. If not, you will wind up in the hospital getting your fluids through an I.V. I had to get IV fluids so many times, I've lost count. Hang in there! It is do-able! It's very hard, but you'll feel so much better, and you'll look better too. I looked in the mirror and saw a skinny schriveled up stranger looking back at me. After I got one of the IV "fill -ups", I looked in the mirror and my face looked so much younger! The wrinkles were filled in with fluid filled skin again! Water! Water! Water!
