Maybe I read wrong...any medication that has the potential to lower your blood pressure can actually cause circulation problems in the extremities, causing swelling and fluid retention.
Opioid and opiate pain meds can cause this as well by directly lowering blood pressure.
The description of the Doctors you have seen give me great pause.
I agree with the others...see a pro.
It feels yucky when fluid builds up, shoes don't fit, and the problem is not being treated. Did either doctor refer you to a specialist? I would ask for one.

my right leg next to knee is swollen and the whole leg feels thignt...I wear those nylons but it is so so hot here in AZ ...they do help immediately and I find myself resting alot
