Swelling and hcv

I was wondering if anyone here has ever had unilateral (one side only) edema (swelling)in feet, ankles, hands, knees or elbows. From what I have been told by the Dr.s, bilateral swelling is what normally occurs with RA and not unilateral, as in gout.
Just wondering if anyone else WITH HCV has had this occur.

Are you talking about unilateral swelling of upper and lower limbs simultaneously?
That would be something to have checked out immediately.
Is there any pain or loss of sensation or motor function or just swelling?

Crazy. It can be the left hand swolen as big as a baseball mitt and the next time the right foot. It's always moving somewhere. For years! Lots of pain because of the swelling. Lack of movement because of the swelling. I think this has to do with the liver. I'm no doctor but that's my medical opinion!
We all have such crazy things happen to us as a result of having this virus for years/decades and I can't help but think the iceburg that is HCV is just crowning.

Do you think it might be Vasculitis or Phlebitis? Does your DR. know about this? Maybe you need to have it checked out.

It's the espousa. It's driving me crazy because he's been going through this for years and none of the Dr.s have the answer, albeit, steroids.
