Your lucky your not on anything stronger percacets only have about 5 to 15 mg of codone or (heroin) and the rest is aspirin. Larocets are the same but cut with tylenol/atamenaphin. I think percocet is cut with asperin heck I forgot it may be cut with tylenol also.That is what gave me such a high amonia level and there is no cure for that either once its done it never gets back it can be controled not to climb more most of the time but sometimes even that doesnt help it is also what give sme mu hilucinations. Is a VARy bad thing to have.

I was wrong percocets are actominphen and ozycodone. Which is clean heroin. So your withdrawels are the same as mine. I feel like crawling up in a ball for days on end and doing nothing else. But you must try to take your mind off of those. If you are like me I usally run out a few days ahead of schuke and go though living hell those days. So I am sure you do that also so consentract on those feeling and not the good ones. Go outside like I said and just walk and even just sit outside maybe read a book anything to take your mind off the drug. LOts and Lots of Hugs you are a brave warrior you CAN do this.

just a quick update, went to dr. put me back on lorazapam and gave me something else to help with some of the others sides. will be off work til Monday for sure. boy was he pissed at me for going cold turkey. wants me to go to rehab. wanted to put me back on the perc's and wean me slower. I didn't want to since I have come this far. he's not happy with my decision but wants to watch me closely. that;s all I have the energy for right now.

It certainly is your decision on how you feel is the best way but I gotta say cold turkey is the hardest way to go.
I weaned down from six oxys to my last leg of half a tab a day. That I will finish next week. I'm glad you spoke to your Dr. Let him help you a little and get well soon.

I' wondering why he doesn't have you on methadone instead to help in the weaning process... My brother says that there's also a drug that's been out for some time now that helps people trying to wean off percocets and they're called Suboxone and Buprenorphine.

bestshot you are on oxycodone. Percocet, Percodan are just combinations of Oxycodone and Tylenol or Aspirin.
My Dr. Rx me just Oxycodone because it is not hard on the liver on it's own.
All the horror you hear about quitting Oxycontin (time release) and Oxycodone are what you are going through.
My dose was small but even I found after being on a steady dose for three months, hard to just stop
