Hi everyone-
My husband just had his liver biopsy, which wasnt as bad as we anticipated, and his results were stage one fibrosis with minimal scarring. Does anyone know what that means? I'm assuming its not that bad but is it good news? I've tried looking it up and I'm not getting very much info.

I was diagnosed with zero scarring and one inflammation, on a scale of 0-4.
Fibrosis, if I'm not mistaken is early thickening of the tissues that eventually lead to scarring or cirrhosis. \
You need to research it some more, or hope someone more knowledgeable can help you.
You should ALWAYS ask your doc those questions while he's a captive audience.
Some scales will tell a stage, and a grade. I'm not going to guess at your husband's results, but yes it sounds good.
