Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I was on 3tx a year ago and I have been having pains in my breast as well. Not the kind you describe though. Mine feels more like a sharp pain all of a sudden. So strong that I contemplated going to the hospital once. Thought maybe I was having a heart attack. But it was gone in a few minutes. That has happened to me on and off for quiet a few months now. You are doing the right thing going and having it check out. Probably nothing but better to be on safe than sorry. Especially since there is swelling.
