I wrote a long reply and just lost it so I can summarize: I am afraid treatment will not work, just like last time, even though the indicators are good. My blood work so far: baseline 830,000+ in late January. Day 19 blood work 110 VL. Week 7 VL under 15 but still detected. Of course, even though below the lower level of quantification is good, it was still detected and I had hoped for a better report.

My treatment experience has been fabulous. I have no complaints there. No side effects. I am exhausted but I have others stressors. My arthritis is affecting my mobility. I can still take care of myself but it is challenging and I have been paying home care agencies for rides for my mother and myself to get to doctor appointments. The costs will soon become unsustainable so I have to take action soon. I was told I will need two new knees and I am not ready to make that choice for many reasons.

I finish treatment May 1 so I am in the final count down to EOT. I know there is tremendous hope if this treatment fails but I just want this over.

I'm sorry you are having such a hard time. I had one knee replaced and i wish i had done it sooner!!

Genotype 1a also CC variant with fibrosis score between F1 and F2.

OW, not to rain on your parade but my oldest sister (age 67) just had a knee replacement & has had a VERY HARD time of it. I realize everyone is different but she was in a rehab facility for 1 month & has been home for some time & still isn't walking well. She is still in physical therapy. She says she needs the other knee replaced but not going to even consider that for a while (if ever). This was the same experience as my Mother.

Some people have it easier than others, just wanted you to think about how much this could set you back.
