HCV1 taking Soldavi/Ribavarin its made me an emotional wreck. Also coinfected with HIV but that has been well controlled for years. I hope the labs come out good but I fear this is doing great damage to my body. I know I am anemic have high BP now and high heart rate and can't sleep. Usually a dull headache in the morning. I've been buried in depression. Not myself and people are starting to notice. I hope at the end of the treatment the outcome will have been worth the incredible strain this has put on my body and emotional stability. I had to park my motorcycle because of suicidal driving.

I'm sorry you're having such a rough go of it. It is a very difficult treatment; some of us have worse experiences than others.
Have you been keeping your dr or PA abreast of what you're feeling & the sx? Are you on BP meds? They can give you things to counteract certain sx. You need to let them know.
Keep in mind that this tx isn't going to last forever & a lot of the emotional stuff is definitely exacerbated by the meds. An anti-depressant may help.
Try not to give up. How many weeks do you have left?
Regardless, I hope you will tell your doc. about these feelings and symptoms and are willing get some pharma help for depression. You can get meds for high BP (I take them and am needing a higher dose during tx, even though I'm doing Sovaldi/Olysio - no Riba). If you are thinking suicidally, please talk to your doc and ask for something because this is serious. Just noticed in your profile you are also having major dental work done right now - I hope your dentist is aware of your tx. Be sure he does know, okay?
Yes, what you're doing is definitely "ambitious" to say the least. You may not have realized how Riba would have affected you before starting tx as well as dental work and the stress of looking for a new job. Wow, I mean, that's a heavy load. You sure as heck don't want to stop tx, so I hope one of those other things can be at least partly put on hold for a while, until end of tx. Easier said than done, I know. But man, completing tx is so important; it sounds like something else has to give.

I have been allowed to take advil for headaches - drinking more helps reduce headaches - and caffeine.
you might also ask your doc if you can take anything for sleep and the depression. You don't want to tax your liver with a slew of medications, but you need to sleep and...ya' goitta stay alive to enjoy the end result of getting rid of the dragon!!!
