Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Who is currently taking sovaldi Riba treatment? I haven't been on in a while, but I know a lot of people are getting on the treatment and some have finished up. Id love to hear some updates! I'd like to hear about side effects as well as who has successfully completed treatment. I know I will be cured on this treatment!
You have not done any treatment previously, if I recall correctly?
You are young & so is your liver.
You may have an entirely different experience from anyone else with your treatment. Its somewhat different for each person. some of us have more advanced liver disease & other health issues that impact the way the drugs are absorbed & how they interact with each other.
Perhaps just begin with out prejudice. If you have what you think could be sides, ask your doctor, and share with us if you'd like our input.
I for one don't want to tell anyone that it was the Highway to Hell & Back LOL when for you, it could be the Magic Carpet Ride.

second week was the most memorable, had couple mild and one bad headache, none since.
my most notable and lasting side was sun sensitive to the eyes. flashing floaters followed by low grade headache. get out of sun and it would pass in about 30 min.
my joints stiffen easily but that could be age or just setting longer due to sun and fatigue, we'll find out later :-)
for me it's been pretty easy compared to some others. But I started out in pretty good health minus the Hep C.
