Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

I have definitely made up for it the last 25 years or longer.
I can't help the fact that I had Hep C - I did beat it and I have to slowly get my body back to good health. Some of us are more damaged than others (whole body, not just the liver).
There is hope, and this summer I was on Cloud 9. Having a little setback, but keeping my head up.
Trust in God - that is how you have made it this far!!
