Oh yes. What will be the minimum of $18.000 out of pocket per patient of the 80/20 rule. And usually the first $2000 as the deductible before the insurance kick in. What is comes to $20.000 and you sure hope the pills will work for you.

Oh yes. What will be a $54 billion of cash (27x.20) just from the patients to big pharma and insurance company's. No doubt on my mind we are just running around with that kind of cash in our back pockets. This is America, the land of plenty. It is definitely time for Obama care! Healthcare for all!!

HA! What the financial analysts like this are missing is that we are not sitting back and choosing by the number of pills, duration of treatment, side effects, or price: They miss the fact that our choices are limited by our genotype!!! And that should be a factor when they are calculating number of patients because not all treatments are right for all patients...but, perhaps the phram cos are a bit less forthcoming about that with investors???

Oh well....keep investing away...

You neglected to add that the 'plenty' is concentrated in VERY few hands. But yeah, I couldn't agree more with the sentiment for universal healthcare here, but it will never happen.

It will happen in the snap of the moment, as the Obamacare time frame is approaching. Insurance companies no way will pay $90.000 per person for the treatment , so it will be purchased by bulk bt the hospitals to make money. Means people who signs up with OC , will not have to shell out an initial $20G before the insurance kicks in! The other great thing : OC will eliminate preexisting conditions. You don't have to wait a whole year before your insurance company will pays for the treatment. And because of that i could save the minimum $10.200 for the year what would be required to pay before treatment. That is $30.200 at the minimum before you would get the meds.

Insurance companies will have no choice , will have to compete eventually even as they are playing the games on high level. One of my friend is paying $1.500 per month Health insurance and she is cured. She started with $850 before the treatment now is almost doubled.For everyone to understand it.Most if not all retirement funds are bankrupt because the health insurance is skyrocketed.Every year it is keep on going up disproportionately with the income.And the are the kings do what ever they please.

Yes i firmly believe we all have insurance very soon, and if the doctors don't like the money he will get paid, the could move to other parts of the world where they would get half what they making here. Most doctors out of school starts with a $350.000 a year salary. Doctors office visit : $80 that is not include the tests and the meds. $80 is many peoples full day pay. Now i don't see it fair. And now the retired folks got to take the pension reductions. Healthcare cost went haywire , free for all there are no borders or boundaries. All in the name of health care supremacy. Are we really that superior? I could write a whole page on that too...

And here is the question, who is worst insurance companies or hospitals? I would like to remind you many of the hospitals are owned by doctors ! what are they thinking? Where do we supposed get all this money from? "consolidated hospital systems can drive prices as much as 20% to 40% higher" . We cant already afford the existing care, but i guess the top 1% has no issues.
