Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
Don't be sad....we are chosing this to heal ourselves..and remember, it's not forever!
I also got a new appreciation for drivethrough fastfood, kids in the back me sort of slumped over the front wheel, eyes drifting a little, It is tiring, hope your week improves
And when you have grandchildren and one of the little people munches on your finger when he/she is teething, you don't have to worry about "did I just infect my own grandchild"
Treatment sucks, but the little bastard viruses die, and you live. A good tradeoff
Be thankful that you do have family, even if you can't participate in everything, or anything right now. You will be able to eventually. Some people are totally alone.
