Rough day

I gotta tell ya, I think today has been one of the worst days I have had emotionally. I don't remember ever feeling so alone and lonely in my life. Even though I am on ant depressants. My husband has gone to a BBQ today and I am all alone. I knew I wouldn't feel good enough to go so I didn't even try. It was my oldest sons birthday yesterday and my parents went to see him today to take him out for a birthday dinner with my youngest son and I couldn't go cause I was to sick. The live about 2 hours from me. I haven't seen them in months. I miss them so much.My cat Louie even took off on me today. Came back about an hour ago now is gone again. Well, i guess I could talk to the fish!!!! Wow talk about a pity party huh???? To lazy to make myself any dinner so I had a bowl of cereal. lol At least it stayed down. Anyway thanks for listening. Hope you all are haveing a better day than me.

Debbie, I'm sorry you are having such a bad day. I hope tomorrow will be better, and also hope that this time, the treatments will do the trick for you. I noticed that we are not mutual 'friends' here, so I'll send you a friends request. Hang in there-one day at a time. Marilyn

When I had to miss out on alot and just stay home, I would try to tell myself it would be no different if I had a broken leg or something. I wouldn't be able to go somewhere either way.

Don't be sad....we are chosing this to heal ourselves..and remember, it's not forever!

Hi Debbie, the loneliness is hard aye, I got a bit resentful that people didn't call me or make more of an effort for a while but there was the part of me that didn't want to be around others, it was hard enough dealing with the little ones. You could just do what I do and talk to yourself all day, the more tired I got the more chatter that went on!

I also got a new appreciation for drivethrough fastfood, kids in the back me sort of slumped over the front wheel, eyes drifting a little, It is tiring, hope your week improves

But next year you'll be at your sons birthday party hep free and happy, and then all the birthday parties after that.

And when you have grandchildren and one of the little people munches on your finger when he/she is teething, you don't have to worry about "did I just infect my own grandchild"

Treatment sucks, but the little bastard viruses die, and you live. A good tradeoff

Ah sweet girl. I know how you feel. Too tired or sick to do anything, yet wishing you could. I had days where anything - I mean anything - would set me crying. For no reason. Depressed and trying to figure out why. I finally did figure out to STOP trying to figure it out. It's the meds - and it won't last forever. I'm on week 28 & don't have that incredible tiredness or sadness anymore - for the most part anyway.

Be thankful that you do have family, even if you can't participate in everything, or anything right now. You will be able to eventually. Some people are totally alone.

And remember it's ok to express everything here.

Hang in ther Debbie I was too tired to carry on much of a social life. My husband and son went on. I was happy that they did but sometimes you need a pity party. Find your cat and chain him to you!
