Hi All...I would like to know from all the people on this site that have been declared undetectable, how are you feeling today??

Have you any symptoms, side effects, are you still fatigued, etc.?

I am SVR-24 since 10/1 and feel fine....BUT, i never had any symptoms that I could directly attribute to HCV anyhow. had it more than 45 years and never knew I had it.

I treated with S&O and had virtually no side effects other than an increase in headaches for a short while. When comparing sides - especially lingering sides - its important to know what TX. The old TXs caused severe sides that lingered and some people still take Riba and/or INF depending on their GT, so take that into consideration when asking this question.

I am tired a lot. Used to sleep 10 hrs a night and still feel tired. Now I sleep about 8 and can nap standing up!! BUT, I have had RA for over 40 years, too and that causes fatigue... plus now I'm almost 70, so....

I am SVR 12 after treating with sovaldi and olysio. I am feeling much better have more energy and putting on weight. I am however still dealing with adverse side effects from a failed interferon treatment in 2010.

The other variable is the stage of liver damage. If someone has cirrhosis and achieves SVR, they still have cirrhosis, although the liver can regenerate over time. I was very fortunate - especially for the length of time I had it - that I have very little liver damage. Stage 1-2 fibrosis.

Also - meds just effect everyone differently and each of us has our own pain and complain tolerance level. But txs vary depending as i said, on GT and also insurance and LENGTH of txs vary as well. I only did 12 weeks of tx, no Riba, no INF. (Though I had done Riba previously).

Kramer...how much weight did you lose in all waiting for Tx...I see you said you are gaining weight...I am losing weight and losing appetite..all but sugar seems like the only thing now I grab for and I ususally eat really healthy

I was pretty steady, no weight loss until the Dr. told me to drop 10 lbs to help my fatty liver. I did that. I only started gaining weight right after treatment. I suspect it's because I am no longer fighting the virus ..virus all gone! :)

Oh , I guess that is good news, maybe it is something else going on with me...I haven't felt good in 3 weeks, I think I have the flu...dr office said my symptoms don't sound like HCV, but drop in platlets would cause for fatigue...I am not that fatigie just stomach and aches...I think I have that influenza bug...
