Supplements may be contra indicated while you are on treatment, check with your dr.
A positive attitude will take you a long way. I did an older treatment that may not be anything like your meds so I'm not going to project or mislead.
If you are not scheduled to start in the next month, then I would suggest a healthy nutritious diet & exercise. Probably most of us do milk thistle. The rest of the voo doo is very individual and depends on your unique medical profile soooo...check with your dr.
Keep reading & posting & we'll cheer you on!
Best wishes
Wishing you the best in your journey to better health & here's to a successful tx!
But as you go along, post questions & give us updates about what's happening, and we can help.
No matter what tx you do, drinking lots of water is always advisable.
My doctor told me I could eat anything I wanted. And I
did. After 6 months of Triple TX with inciveck I was
cured. Just put your head down and take one day at
a time. Rest as much as possible. Drink plenty of water.
And keep a sense of humor. Laugh at yourself, cry at
yourself. Once your done, you will be back to normal
very soon. Good luck to you!!!

If you're doing triple tx with Incivek, you'll definitely want some stool softener like Metamucil or Psyllium Husks. Preparation-H and some salts for a Sitz bath are really helpful too. You'll laugh about the Ring of Fire after treatment, but you won't be laughing when you poop...guaranteed.
Carry water with you everywhere. Drink a half gallon a day minimum. Keeps you hydrated and helps with the funky, metallic taste in your mouth.
Biotene products can be your best friend. I had dry mouth so bad at night that I woke up with my tongue stuck to the roof of my mouth, and the dryness will start to irritate your tongue and gums. The gel really helps keep your mouth from drying out at night.
Crank your Netflix subscription up. I spent more time on the couch watching TV during 24 weeks of treatment than I had in the past 20 years.
Get as fit as you can before you start, because you won't be getting much exercise on treatment. Most people feel lousy, and also get anemic, which saps your energy. If I pushed it too hard with a long walk, I didn't feel right the next day. I think your body needs a lot of energy for this fight, so you don't want to wear yourself out...the meds do that anyway.
I describe treatment as the flu, PMS, and a hangover all in one...for 6-12 months. It's tough. Like Ozzita said, just take it ONE DAY AT A TIME. Keep your eye on the light at the end of the tunnel, even if you can't always see it. Stick with your treatment to the letter!
Looking forward to hearing about your UND labs, SVR status, and a life free of HCV...be tough! :-)
Oh, and don't forget the water.!
YOU however have a LOT to offer me and others who are contemplating the new tx. Please, post a lot, share as much as you dare, bring a sense of humor, and plunge into the unknown with confidence.
Many will be here to cheer you on.
Good luck and the best of outcomes to you.
