Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

One of our member here at the hep c community, Keita is in need of our prayers for the open heart surgery her 2 1/2 year old grandson.
So please send your prayers to this wonderful women who must be a nervous wreck over this hugue operation on such a little one.

keita I am also a new member. It makes me feel very sad to hear of your little grandson's surgery. I of course will pray for his little body to fight very hard. I am a grammy of 3 girls and a 1 and a half year old grandson. stay strong and keep your faith and know that others care very much too.

Our prayers are working so far.
Just got a quick message from keita, and our lil man survived the surgery.
They will keep him in a semi coma for the next two days, but he did it.
Thanks for all the prayers.
