God speed my friend.

However, i don't think its related to the medications, i think its due to 10 months of inactivity during tx, and frankly not a whole lot since. I have fully recovered from the meds and am perfectly capable of exercising but have never gotten any motivation back to do it
So my experience is different than BIlls, mine is self inflicted
how careful I am not to over do things. I guess I don't have a "take it easy" bone in my body. That could be part of the problem. That and being 60 don't help. Can't expect soar with the eagles as I once did.
The thing about the withdrawl is just more aches and sinus issues than usual. It could be because the weather has really taken a turn for the worse in that its getting to single digit temps. Developed a pain that radiates from the neck down into the right shoulder blade. Only when I lay down at night making it very painful to turn while in horizontal position. Heading south later this week for a long weekend in the Atlanta. Hopefully the change will do me good.
Anyone that can spare a few extra rays of sun this winter please direct it my way. I feel Blaaaaaah witout it not matter if I'm on TX or not.. I believe its called Effective Seasonal Disorder. Hope everyone stays warm...
I had arthritus for years (I'm 61). Before I did soc tx 3 yrs ago, I was sent to an arthritus specialist to determine what kind of arth. it was, and that I didn't have lupus. The dr said my arthritus was associated with my hep c. When I was into tx for a couple of months I noticed the arth pain was gone. I had a million other pains & sx but I could tell the difference. When I started feeling the arth pain again a month or so after tx, I decided to get bloodwork. The hep was back. This time I've been getting neck, back, & hand pain twds the end of tx.
Since I'm done tx, I'm hoping things will start to get better soon. Time will tell.
I hope yours goes away too.
Achy joints and bones were issues for me for at least a year or more post tx. I did find daily physical helped, and also drinking plenty of water. I still have some issues but it could just be age related, though I believe interferon aged my skeletal system by at least 5 years.
I hope it warms up for you when you get to the ATL. Weather has only been highs of 50's with some chilly lows of low 20's- 30's. The sun is warm, and hopefully it stays sunny. (Friday, chance of showers). But it's great walking weather!
Glad you are finished and hope you feel better with each week!
Coming off tx is a process I am learning. It really was an emotionally and physically traumatic experience. It will take some time to get back to a life that we are happy with again but I believe we need to keep striving towards that and that it will come. I need to take the strength and growth from this experience forward and try to let most of it fade as much as possible.
so much. Looking forward to things heating up. Daily activity has never been a problem. in addtionion to my daily workouts I've been working full tilt through the entire TX 48 weeks. I am a salesman who has to get out to the customers for medical sales. Lots of walking and lifting of equipment is a regular routine as is driving 30K miles a year. Sometimes I think I am too active if there is such as thing. Heading in for my first post TX blood work in the morning. So excited I can't sleep.
Wish me Luck!
