My pee was very dark before TX. And cleared up 3 weeks into
triple TX. I'm guessing when I pissed it all out!!! LOL. For real!!!

I, too, am not on treatment (tx naive) and I have to drink a lot of water for it to become clear. I had the stomach bug 2 weeks ago, so because of the dehydration it became VERY dark, but at least I knew why. It got better with more water intake. But, ultimately, it has always been darker than I thought it should be, but it was normal for me.

The white floaters are there from time to time, but not always. I just thought it had to do with the female cycle. I never did ask the doc about that cause I figured they would say the usual; "Oh, that's normal" lol

On occasion I've noticed my pee can be darker yellow than I'd like & it's usually when I'm dehydrated. Stronger odor when it is darker as well. No white floaters though. I have to drink a lot of water to get to light yellow which is normal color. When it's really clear that can indicate too much water intake but clear is what I try for. My husband's pee looked like dark tea as his condition worsened. Certain vitamins, supplements & medicines will affect the color as well.

You'll have to let us know it that changes once you do tx.

I have been really pounding down the water. I slacked off one day and had TWO cokes and overexerted myself. :-( Mine was very dark afterwards, I felt really crappy, and liver area hurt. I upped the water intake to max level, and it's better. I think the single best and easiest thing we can for our livers is drink water and flush, flush, flush.

Asparagus will always make your pee stink! But it's so good for us- the asparagus, not the smell. My urine looks fine, but since I have fluid removed from my abdomen pretty often, the last time (2 weeks ago) it was not it's usual color of light yellow. Instead, it was rusty brown. Tests were run, and turns out, there was blood in it from the procedure itself. All tests were negative.
Now that I'm in my 3re week of Sovaldi and Olysio, I'm not collecting the fluid as fast -- been 2 weeks now and maybe a little fluid. I'm actually wearing some clothes I haven't been able to wear in quite a while.

I had that before I started the new tx.

My liver went thru periods that I had flare-ups....Urine would turn brown, I seemed to always have little spot things (unclear urine)

You have to be really careful what you do, and I don't know whether you drink alcohol or not, but that will definitely cause a flare-up..

Water, water, water - don't be scared, I have had this disease for about 30 years, stage 2.

Thanks for your reply y'all. I was hoping this didn't gross anyone out. There are a lot of things that happen to our bodies because of this disease. I swear when I was diagnosed, soooo many things became clear. All of these little things going on with my body now had a reason. I was beginning to think so many symptoms were in my head because I was healthy. Or so I thought. There was this cunning disease lurking in my body. I try to mention my gratitude for this forum and for you all who help. It truly means a lot to me. Even if its just about pee pee. Lol
