I wish the government would protect our food and water supply instead of overthrowing foreign secular governments. I exist in a constant state of indignation and rage.
When I was 27, an older man who was staying with us, died in my livingroom of a heart attack, Being young, and stupid, I didn't know CPR, so I could do nothing to help him. The ambulance couldn't find out house and had to call back for directions. Consequently he was DOA at the hospital.
I proceeded to have several weird attacks after that. Went to the ER 3 times, convinced that I was having a hreat attack, and one of those times, they clocked my heartbeat at 184 BPM! Still not a heart attack, but a panic attack.
The last time that I went to the ER and followed up with my PCP the next morning, this is what he said...
" Kelly, we are all going to die someday. We don't know how or when, but it IS going to happen. I could walk out the door on my way to my car tonight and get hit by a driver who didn't see me and die. It's life. We all have a time. Worrying about it changes nothing. You can be vigulant and worry about absolutely everything in your life, and still get hit by a bus."
" So my advice to you is to enjoy every day and quit worrying about things that you can't control."
Those words from him stopped my panic attacks and now I educate myself about things the best that I can, and decide if they are for me or not, but I won't panic about the things I cannot change. I refuse to live my life worrying.
Just my 2 cents.
