The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

I didn't realize that he was so well known. I thought that he was just a local musician. When I was a teenager Eric Clapton hung out with him at the local bars. I was too young to go into the bars so I just hung out with my friends outside and caught the musicians on breaks. Those were fun days. But we were so stupid.

Leon and his wife were so accessible. You saw them everywhere. His wife was the inspiration for the Rolling Stones "Brown Sugar". He played here with Elton John a few years ago and it was a beautiful show, But I love Elton John. I could listen to him play the piano for hours.
