Isn't this awesome !!! Strange how they haven't done a news announcement to the big papers !! Guess they don't want to deal with the stampede. But it totally baffles me that they left some people seriously ill while they fought the battle to get the drug price lowered. I wouldn't be surprised if people in an advanced state or cirrhosis gather together and launch a class action lawsuit.

I called Gilead myself about one week before this announcement to find out that my doctor does not even have me registered. I feel like I've been swept under the rug because I told him I was using Ultra Milk Thistle to help subside the side effects while waiting for this approval. Guess we have to be PERSISTENT!!!!!!!

That's great, I wish we in the U.S. had the same healthcare you do in Ontario. I thought typically your universal coverage didn't extend to drugs.

I do not believe that access to tx or lack thereof is 'the Lord's vengeance' and I find those incessant references offensive. I know as a fact that others here share my feelings. This was not designed as a Christian forum but all this chatter about God's vengeance makes this forum VERY unwelcoming to those of us who don't share those beliefs. As you might have noticed, many of us who don't share your beliefs have pretty much given up posting here.

In light of the recent events in Kenya,we would all do well to remember that we are a diverse group and don't all share the same religion beliefs.

I didn't realize I was offending people with some of my Christian comments. I can't say that I am sorry because I am not.

I am trying to educate myself about other religions and what they believe in which I have found to be quite interesting. I hope and pray that one day we can all share a world of tolerance and acceptance that looks more at our similarities rather than differences.
