Hepatitis C Support Group
Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
I feel pretty good, the only real side effect is a headache, and honestly its mild , it feels like a pressure tension headache or like when you have looked at a computer screen for too long, and it only happens at the end of the day so maybe just tired eyes. I ran 2 miles the other day and did yard work and was fine , though my headache that day was more moderate.
side note: I went to a Gilead Hep C education thing and I felt like I was in at one of those time share things, the lady said she couldn't discuss the olysio because it was a different company, she said it would be like a BMW dealer selling a Mercedes! So basically the only treatment she was touting was Ribiviran and Interferon and the Sovaldi combo options. Weird I guess The 2 pills together is not FDA approved? I thought they were. I think she was annoyed I was there to have even mentioned the 2 drugs together and lack of side effects, In fact she sent me in my way before the end because the final bit was how to properly use interferon! Hopefully they will be approved together soon.

You are on an excellent combo. I have 80% coverage for these two drugs too and am trying to get help with the $36,000. copay.

I am ending my 8th week on S & O and headaches are less frequent and less intense for now. Oh, and I am undetecable!
kramer that is do much money. sheesh, I hope you get aide and can get it down to an affordable rate! Seems the co-pays are all over the place too, from 5$ to 17$. up to 20%
And Rass!!! Congratulations!! Und!!! and just 4 weeks to go! Ive been keeping an eye out for your posts, glad to hear the headaches are mellowing out, my throat feels weird sometimes too but not like allergy wise just weird, I definitely get sleepy around 10-11 pm and am down for the count! I cannot wait to get my blood work results!
