Phase I/II they usually choose the easiest to treat and then go after hard to treat cases in \phase III ..kind of like doing the high jump..steps at a time.Hey I wish them luck and this is a great example of how different a world it could be in just a very few years ..maybe two! :^)

Drat - only for tx experienced, but for those who qualify, AWESOME:

"The phase I/II clinical trial is an open-label dose escalation study to evaluate the safety and activity of single doses of TT-034 in patients with chronic HCV genotype 1 infection who have failed previous treatments."

Yup!

Still, I think this treatment is going to be approved in less than 5 years even though hepcat doesn't think so... ;>) ;>) ;>)

And just think of it being used in combination with the DAA's that will be approved by then!!! this virus is going to be eradicated soon yet, not soon enough for the folks that are still suffering and those who don't even know they have HCV...

This I believe will be the final knock out blow for everyone regardless of their genotype or wild virus mutations that sometimes cause drug resistance.

Hopefully we'll see that day come soon!
