Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Ok, I have had it. So sick of being sick, tired and worrying about being sick and tired. I just want it to be over with now!!!! I just want to forget about it and go out and have fun and not have to worry about anything. I want to wake up in the morning and feel good!! Not have to take a nap in the afternoon if I want to stay up past 10:00 pm. I want to be able to clean the apartment without having to rest every 10 min, I wan to be able to work a full day without feeling like I was dragged 50 miles under a bus. I don't want to have to come here on DS to see if any new miracle cures is coming or going to different sites and trying to understand what they are talking about. I want to drink a Rye and coke and enjoy it.!!! Jamaica and a Rum punch maybe. I want to be able to go to the gym and work out like I used to. Basically I WANT MY LIFE BACK!!!!!

Oh Deb, I hear you. I felt this way yesterday totally sick up and fed. Done with being tired and shuffling up stairs, etc at 57 I should be GALAVANTING like I used to a few years ago.. If its any consolation I can relate. Venting is good for us. thank you. Hugs, peeps

awwwwwww........ so sorry you feel so crappy.... all that effort to tx, sometimes life seems so unfair.... venting is good for us, i hope this passes, you gradually feel renewed energy, and get side free tx soon

I'm sick of it with you and for you. Keep on truckin Debbie and this is not at all OT.

Bitching and moaning and griping and groaning about HCV and tx is a significant, necessary part of this support group. Where else can we do it? Nowhere really.

Do what you need to do to git 'er done.

I hear ya Sis, over it already. I don't even start treatment til next week and I am so tired of the testing, the start/stop crap, the testing, the testing....

Hang in there, we can all be tired of it together and plow thru anyway.

Ernie is sooo right!
Every day we put a game face on as we deal with strangers, friends, & family. We keep our fears & physical complaints to ourselves.
This is the one place we should be able to say what we feel without others telling us how we should feel, act, & think, or passing judgement on our spiritual condition.
