All this positive news is driving me crazy...Before I started feeling off and diagnosed ,2 failed treatments,bla,bla,bla,I always took on things,business etc knowing I would get it....My confidence has been completely blown out the window....My wife says,you have had good reason to get down,but you are feeling good now...time to bring that old Les crazy no matter what get the job done person back in your life...

You know what,I have not worked in 11 months....Well I am an electrician and I finally landed work again,I start next week,my time is now..

I am going to keep eating healthy,stay on heptech and this will kick my liver back into serious shape and I am going to get on treatment with gilead in the future....and all of you great people are going to great things happen as well...

I dont know why I wanted to get this positive stuff out,but I just did..I hope positive energy goes to all.

Kick us and keep going and live life,I am sick of my illness stripping all of the things I love in life.

Hey Les ..same thing here. I drove a car last weekend. Hadn't done that in two years since treatment. I see a lifeboat just off shore man ..hang on!

You know,imkramer,that photo of me on my harley was taken only a couple of months or so ago...my bike was pushed out of the garage by my 75 year old father,we took a photo and we put the bike back...

I have not ridden in 2 years well no more then 20 minutes in total...

This last weekand,I got my wife on the back and we took off,it was awesome and I found it easy to ride.

Man thats just great that you drove a car again....keep on drivin.

Good on you Harley. Yes a few folks report strange phobias after treatment Lpbritt freaks out in crowds. I feel like every car in the road is going to swerve into me. It's nasty stuff. Could be used in chemical warfare my friend! lol

Yes I need my confidence back but I think the Interferon really did mess with my balance and made me a little "gun shy".

Keep those reports rolling in. We need to see someone come and rescue us from Gilligan's Isle.

Hey Harley, riding is one of the casualties of treatment for me as well. Fall is great weather in Texas, but I've been on my Ultra only about twice since I started treatment 3 months ago. I feel like crap, and now I'm starting to doubt my balance a bit.

I thought about selling her, but my goal is to be back on her again by spring, maybe take another tour across the US as a celebration of life. Hopefully I will feel like it by then.

Bob if you are like me it will very sloswly come back. I can now drive around the city okay but when on the highway I feel like all the other cars are going to swerve into me or that I will loose control of my vehicle. It is getting better though but a very slow process (over two years).
Unless you need to sell your bike I would suggest you keep it as you may regret letting it go.

what you are describing sounds like the effects i feel from hepc itself only yours are much more intense. the more i listen to folks who are treating, and have treated, the more it sounds like the hepc intensified.

nope .. I've had Hep for 40 years and totally asymptomatic. These feelings all started one week after starting SOC and are haning aorond a very long time. They are getting better as my body recovers from the drugs. My body is not recovering from HCV yet.
I suppose it could be a coincidence but you would have a hard time convincing me it's not Interferon.
