Why not throw it out here for the support group to help you with...
That's how we all do it.
For that you'd need a Rabbi...
For nausea I sip gingerale and I use these things called Sea Bands that you can get at Walmart or a pharmacy. They are little stretch bands you wear on your wrists....they are really for seasickness...but they really help with the nausea. I kid you not. My husband gets vertigo sometimes & they him with nausea, they help me with my Hep C meds nausea. My niece is pregnant & gets morning sickness & they helped her feel better. So give them a try.
How long have you been on TX? Hang in there treatment (TX) is rough....but the reward of possibly clearing are worth it. Hope your feeling better soon. Be kind to yourself.
Are you taking Ribavirin? If so are you taking it after 5pm??? The RN at genentech and my DR moved mine from 10:30 at nite to 2:30 pm and it has madexa huge difference. I also have substituted 2 12 oz cans of warm and semi flat canad dry ginger ale into my daily water intake. Seems to be helping tremendously in abaiting any yicky feeling.
Be strong anything yougot we got. Bring it mybrother!!!!! :))) jan
As Csick said in her post, if you aren't on antidepressants please request them from your doctor. Most people who are on Hep C treatment are on antidepressants. The treatment meds cause depression/anxiety and that is a known fact. If your doctor doesn't seem to understand that fact, you need to get another doctor or go see your general practitioner for help in that department.
Let us know how you are doing this morning.
By the way, I see you live in MN. I grew up in southeast MN.
What week of treatment are you in?
Is your doctor a hepatologist or a gastroenterologist?
Sorry for so many questions.
