i'm not doing tx..they wouldn't if i wanted to..thats what surprised me..i had cancer surgery in oct and they said they got it all..thats the only thing i can think of that the cancer was keeping it high...thank you all for your help..i'm going to get another blood test after the holidays..this is so hard to believe..thank God

Well, after my last viral load test my doctor told me it flucuates throughout time. I have been infected for 28 years and my first was 450,000 and the second one about a year later was 795,000. The doctors told me anything below a million was great. So go figure. I now have brittle diabetes as well which is a condition connected to early cirrhosis. I also have bridging fibrosis stage 4 for over 7 years so who can tell what the VL really means. Many people believe VL load is only important for doing treatment dosing. So, I have given up trying to learn who is really telling the truth. I am just living happy and healthy to the best of my abilities.
