Ever since starting HARVONI Dec 4th I seem to have a need to pass gas on a regular basis. Is this something anyone else has noticed or is just me?

after three weeks since starting I notice no other side effects. I Don't feel any worse or any better then when I started..

Two weeks labs showed everything pretty normal. Platelets were slightly low but nothing to be concerned about.

Well, I guess that depends on how bad they stink, but my guess is that others have noticed it as well.

TH. I've had the Hep C for 20 plus years and never had the consistency I've had since starting the HARVONI.

Lucky for me and everyone else the aroma is not there as it normally would be.

Yes, there seems to be more flatulence while on Harvoni. For me, it's a good thing as I suffered with chronic constipation before Harvoni. I'm regular without laxatives for the first time in ... forever. I suppose some people who are regular might have bouts of diarrhea with Harvoni & the first wk on tx I did have 2 bouts of diarrhea. I also had 2 severe heartburn attacks. You have to take any antacids at least 4 hours prior to taking Harvoni so I didn't take antacids. Thankfully that hasn't been an ongoing issue. I had a migraine the other night but I don't think I drank enough water & was a little stressed with guests & too much going on. The only other side effect is a heat flush about an hour after taking Harvonil. No big deal & I quench it by drinking ice water. The sides are so minimal as to be non-existent especially compared to my former 57 wks of ifn/riba based txs. Toot toot away & blow that nasty dragon out....
