Just came from my check up and my vl went from 25,400 before tx to 215 after my first viral load blood test. Sound pretty good to me. My nurser said it was good but...... it need s to be alot low by week 24 i believe. Still feel as sick as ever and have been taking alot of time off work. Not sure my work is going to be much more supportive!!!!! Last time I took days off they told me "we are still running a business". Anyone else out there having problems with their work being supportive?

I just went off on disability right away...there is no way I could work 12 Hr night shifts and be on this treatment. Good think I did cuz there's no way I could work with the side effects I have

hi there bestshot....
what week of tx was your VL taken,
and what genotype are you and meds are you on?

work is rough....I work part time, 20 hrs a week, and its about all I can handle...some can do more, some less...it's all a personal thing with how the meds affect you individually......

you may ask to reduce your work week to tues -fri? I did and it helps with the weekend to rest after my Interferon shot Fri nite....

I haven't yet told my work about treatment. They know that somehting is up as I have taken a few 2-3 sick days over the past 2 months. I work from home so I can hide my suffering easier than most. Its very difficult for me to work a full 8 hour day. I cheat a little hear and there some days only putting in 6 hours but today I put in 9 .5 hours. I justify this because I worked for years where I put in 55-60 hours a week evenings and weekends. I have 3 weeks left of incivek and pray that I can manage better when I go off it because my performance needs to turn around soon.
