I am so sorry.... Hope you start to feel better as the drugs leave your system, and that you liver has rested and you feel the benefits. better treatments/better days on the horizon.... find another reason to dance soon.

so sorry beth...........but there is non interferon tx's coming out w/100% cure rate........no side effects........so be kind to u're liver in the mean time.........i did 24 and 48 wks interferon failed both......now svr from abbott all pill regimen 24 wks....................fight,fight...............the good fight and be patient.....take care .jesus is lord............

Ahhhhhhhhhh Beth.....so sorry to hear this, but from glancing at a few posts, looks like the new trials are coming along sooner than expected and are doing awesome! Try not to be discouraged and heal your body up, to get ready for that. I think it's less than 12 weeks, very little if any sx and you're done!
I have been lucky so far....stopped 4 weeks short, but my 1 month test was good, and I have another coming up Dec 1st. I'm hopeful, but.....so many here lately have had the bad news, that I know I am NOT sitting on solid ground. I'm scared, but have decided that I will just wait and try again with the new drugs if that happens. What else are you going to do? So give yourself some hope to look forward to and rest your body. YOu fought a good fight!

This makes me want to scream and cry and pound my fists and shout out to God, saying "this is just so unfair!" I am so terribly sorry. We have had several of these posts lately, and this is very discouraging. Were you undie throughout treatment? 48 weeks is suck a long time, how could the bastards (sorry I don't usually curse) have survived this?

I'm with Betsy on this one. I don't get it. I will be so glad when they come out with something that works for everyone 100% of the time. Don't give up. The cure has got to be out there and soon.
