hi everyone. i'm new to the hep c forum.
2 weeks ago i saw a doctor for an unrelated reason and she decided to pull some blood vials for some testing. they called me this past thursday said everything was normal. then on friday they called me again saying that some new results came in and its coming up as "inconclusive". i asked wtf does this mean and the nurse says the doctors thinks i *may* or *may not* have Hep C. told me to come in on monday (tomorrow) for another round of blood tests, then another after july 16.
i got a copy of my blood test from 2 weeks ago. i can't seem to make much sense of it other than they think i may or may not have it and need more tests.
i had blood done back in march for a surgery. nothing showed up then. it makes no sense to me how i could have got hep C in these few short months. from everything i've read it makes no sense. i'm married, only sleep with my husband, don't use needles, don't work in an environment with blood, haven't done any new tattoos, etc etc. i'm hoping that someone in the hospital made a huge mistake and messed up.
if i have hep C does that mean that my husband has it too? or can catch it from me?
i'm worried sick, i don't know how to make it pretty much a whole month before i can get answers.

Don't bother worrying over where it may have come from, if you are positive just proceed to the next step.
There are so many possible sources that we KNOW of, and probably many we don't know of, its not worth trying to pinpoint.
dentists, manicures, surgery, blah blah blah....

Sorry you have to wait for an answer, does she or doesn't she...waiting is the hardest part. :::hummm I feel a commercial and a song coming over me::::::
Anyway, try not to stress too much until you know for sure, and educate yourself AND your husband about the virus.
