The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Yes my second response was misleading, as this trial is in Europe.
The USA has a lot of them on the go and I'm happy to say some of my Stage 4 peers here are doing extremely well.
