I clicked on 1 message and thought no more of it - i am happily partnered anyway and later that night when i went to shut pc down it froze. It was still trying to shut down following morning so ran complete virus scan and it detected something very fishy. All fixed now but that taught me a lesson - i will only open messages from the regs here. These 2 guys...never heard of them before and not one had Hep C as their status anyway.....creeps

oh and another thing; during the night when pc was frozen that guy's message/profile completely disappeared from my inbox - like an auto delete. If i had of known pc was not shutting down i would have unplugged it from the wall but i went straight to bed. No doubt some hacker

Simone, you indicate that your PC got a virus. I hope it's not HCV because if I had to put my machine on triple therapy it would be disastrous. It already is sluggish, and already goes into sleep mode with no warning.

Simone, in the fine print for Norton you'll find it says that if your PC is infected with HCV you must run the update and scan every 8 hours.

Then, weekly, run Win7 HGB to ensure that the device is not anemic
