The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.

Agreed. Makes sense to me! Universal healthcare is universal healthcare. Treat them and treat everybody.

@werty I would never have been able to get the meds without Stage 4 cirrhossis either ..so why should they all get it .. in Canada the same is happening only those with stage 3 + and only if you already had tx before on inf /riba

.Make it universal for all people in or out of prison not one or the other if law abiding citizens have to wait till stage 3 so should prisoners and if any stage can get it universally outside of prison ..so should those inside ..
