Also, in a previous post I mentioned I did 8 weeks with riba and am SVR 12. ( I also had adverse side effects but slowly I am returning to normal and now believe it was worth it)

That certainly is really great news!!! And the newer non-nucleoside polymerase inhibitor GS-9669 as a third agent instead of ribavirin also led to SVR12 rates of 100% for difficult-to-treat genotype 1 patients is the precise complement to this combo pill in order to finally eliminate Riba from the treatment regimen is fantastic news!!!
This means that only two pills will be necessary to give difficult to treat Geno 1a's with such incredible (100%) cure rates @ SVR-12!!!
This is what I want if I can get into one of these studies for post transplant patients when they become available and I am fortunate to have the luxury to wait a bit longer than other folks like Marilyn and Billy because the state of my liver is less damaged than theirs!

I did 28 wks with Interferon, Ribaviran and Victrelis, and it left me with arthritic like pain, in my hip. I think it is SO great that they are taking the Interferon out...wooot!!
