Hepatitis C is a blood-borne viral disease which can cause liver inflammation, fibrosis, cirrhosis and liver cancer. The hepatitis C virus (HCV) is spread by blood-to-blood contact with an infected person's blood. Many people with HCV infection have no symptoms and are unaware of the need to seek treatment. Hepatitis C infects an estimated 150-200 million people worldwide.
When I bought my house , an ins. policy man came out and said they would send me to have bloodwork done and many were being approved even though they had LOW counts on labwork..he told me don't worry about it and was ready to take a deposit , ofcourse...I never followed through with it...still waiting for 24EOT decide later...not going anywhere LOL

I would have your doctor write a letter and if they still don't accept you, then start a lawsuit. Maybe you can start a class action.
Maybe they can do an exclusion for liver cancer but I don't think that is fair either.
Damn, they better not consider us as having Hep C once we are cured..
