Bestshot don't beat yourself up over this. Although Percocet is mostly tylenol, which is bad for the liver, I doubt they would cause the treatment to fail. That was probably due to your genetics. Anyway, be thankful you are off of them now...

It doesn't matter now! Move on and kick this things butt then attack the DRAGON! Gotta get by this FIRST! But that is in the past so look to the future! By the time you try again the new stuff should be out and like Reneesunflower says "you will have hit the LOTTERY! I believe every thing happens for a reason. Let go of it!!

Crap, It wasn't the percs. I take them occ. and was on the all oral. I don't take them everyday, but if it could interfere, I am sure someone else would have been chosen.

I can't even imagine going through tx and then having the outcome you have had, except i CAN imagine it because so many of you here have persevered through many tx and challenges. You can only move forward.... the perc's maybe helped you get as far as you did in tx, certainly they gave you some pain relief at the time..... once you clear them from your system you will be clearer than ever on the promise and perils of meds---- a valuable life lesson that many of use (certainly me) have learned the hard way. I believe we are in this life to learn, grow and share. Your courage inspires me, be gentle with yourself.

I haven't been here much lately, but I remember all the things that you went through Debbie....it was a tough go for you. It is for everyone right now, and maybe you were just selected to do it the easier way. Look forward, have hope and believe in that hope. Better, easier stuff is just down the road! =)

I also doubt that the percs had anything to do with it. I did and still do take hydros which are simular, plus I add a wee bit of tylenol too. Doc said up to 1500 mg additional tylies.
I just think you were destined to be cured an easier way. So put that smile back on your face, and get ready cause the time is almost here for the new drugs.
