While psychological illness and alcohol consumption can reduce treatment response in patients with chronic hepatitis C, the effect of other behavioral and lifestyle factors remains unclear, according to a recent study.

They don't seem to follow up with those of us who are SVR.

It's interesting because there are so many factors that can affect. Support from families and friends being one that comes to mind for me.
Treatment was hell for me but I had good emotional support and understanding. Unfortunately PegInf wasn't working for me so I stopped otherwise I would have made it through.
We all remember how many relationships went south during SOC treatment
